Clos de Goisses Philipponnat

A Champagne from Philipponnat, from the Vallée de la Marne. The grapes are selected from a vineyard classified as Premier Cru and Grand Cru, on steep hills with a distinctive microclimate. It is produced in limited quantities. On the nose it shows ripe fruit such as quince and peach, with honey, toasted hazelnut and a subtle minerality. On the palate it is creamy and enveloping, with harmonious structure, lively acidity and long persistence. Ageing on the lees adds complexity and depth.
