Clos Martin VSOP is an Armagnac from France, aged for at least 8 years in oak barrels before blending. That is double the minimum of 4 years that the law requires for the VSOP grade.
The blend uses Baco and Ugni Blanc grapes and is full bodied, with fruit, wood and mineral notes. It suits drinking neat after dinner, and it also works in cocktails such as a twist on the Manhattan or the Vieux Carré. It comes in a 75cl bottle.
