Clyde May's Alabama Style Whiskey is an American whiskey bottled at 42.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is aged for four years in oak barrels and finished with a hint of apple. The apple recalls Clyde May, who began making whiskey in Conecuh County, Alabama, in 1946 and added oven-dried apples to his barrels. His son Kenny later brought the brand to legal production. In 2004 the Alabama Legislature named Conecuh Ridge the Official State Spirit of Alabama. The nose offers rich caramel, dried orchard fruits and green apple. The palate is warm and medium-bodied, with a black pepper accent, anise and toasted oak, leading to a smooth finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
