Clyde May's Single Barrel Bourbon is a straight bourbon from a single barrel, bottled at 51% ABV (102 proof) without chill filtration, in a 750ml bottle.
It is distilled in Indiana from a mashbill of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley, then aged in new 53-gallon American oak barrels. Unlike the brand's Alabama Style whiskey, it has no apple influence.
The nose is caramel and toasted oak with sweet citrus peel. On the palate come brown sugar, leather, cinnamon bark, allspice and cherry, and the long finish brings oak, honey and dried spice.
