Clynelish – 1993 - Connoisseurs Choice is a single malt whisky from Clynelish (Highland). Bottled at 43% ABV, 70cl. Clynelish distillery is situated on the outskirts of Brora on the Sutherland coast in the Northern Highlands of Scotland. The current distillery was rebuilt in 1969, with the original site continuing production under the Brora name. Clynelish is widely regarded as one of the great Highland malts, prized both as a single malt and as a component in blended Scotch whiskies. This bottling was distilled at Clynelish in October 1993 and bottled in November 2007, representing approximately 14 years of maturation in Refill Sherry Casks. It was specially selected, produced and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail of Elgin, Scotland, as part of their long-established Connoisseurs Choice range of Highland single malt Scotch whiskies. Bottled at 43% ABV.
