Clynelish – 22 Year Old Cask Strength Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Distilled 1972, Bottled 1994 (75cl, 59%)

This Clynelish was distilled in 1972 and bottled in 1994 as a 22 year old, at a cask strength of 58.95%. It is a Highland single malt in a 75cl bottle, numbered 04126 and boxed. The Clynelish distillery as it stands today was built in 1967 to replace a smaller distillery next door, the original site of that name. The older distillery closed, later reopened and took the name Brora. Clynelish came under DCL in 1912 and is now part of Diageo. It is an important part of the Johnnie Walker blends, yet has long been bottled as a single malt.
