This is a 23 year old Clynelish from the Highland distillery, bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company as its tenth batch. It is a single malt in a 50cl bottle at 47.3%, non-chill filtered, and 187 bottles were produced.
The nose offers apple peel and candle wax, with a floral lift of spring blossom and heather and a subtle flintiness. The palate stays waxy, with a tropical fruit tang developing alongside warming oak spices. The finish is oily barley that lingers.
