This is a 25 year old single cask Clynelish from the Highlands, vintage 1996. It is Collective Single Cask #5, from The Artful Dodger series, in a 50cl bottle.
The nose brings lemon peel, beeswax, vanilla, soft tropical fruit and coastal air. The palate is waxy and citrusy, with honeyed malt, gentle pepper and sweet oak. The finish is long and drying, with lingering wax, citrus oils and warming spice.
