This is a 30 year old Clynelish, distilled in 1972 and bottled in 2002 for The Dundeil Selection. It is a limited edition Highland single malt, matured in a single oak cask and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers waxed parchment, salted caramel, soft honey, dried apricot, sweet peach, melon, light chocolate and candied banana, with a touch of sweet smoke and white chocolate. The palate opens with light, tangy citrus and dark berries, then waxy, sweet coastal notes and a light, rounded smoke, warming and smooth throughout.
