This is a 30 year old Clynelish, distilled on 20 October 1993 and bottled on 24 October 2023 by the independent bottler Halcyon Spirits. It comes from two casks, #11082 and #11104, and was bottled at a cask strength of 42.1%, giving 154 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is full of fresh orchard fruit, with quince, lemon peel, icing sugar, beeswax and a mineral, limestone edge. The palate is slightly punchy and oily, waxy and fruity, with vanilla, honey and peach. The finish is medium-long and warm, drying to herbal and leathery notes.
