Clynelish 'Candlekitty' is a 10 year old Highland single malt bottled by Decadent Drinks for its Equinox and Solstice series, marking the summer solstice of 2021. It is bottled at 48.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in three first-fill bourbon casks, and 973 bottles were filled.
The nose is juicy pear, sweet apricot and a hint of clove. On the palate come honeyed malt, dark chocolate and toasted almonds. The finish is long and warming, with a touch of vanilla.
