Clynelish – Distillery Exclusive Bottling Batch 1 is a single malt whisky from Clynelish (Highland). Bottled at 48% ABV, 70cl. Clynelish is one of the Four Corners distilleries of Johnnie Walker. The original Clynelish Distillery was founded by the Duke of Sutherland in 1819 adjacent to the present operational Clynelish Distillery which was built in 1967. In 2002, Clynelish finally released an official bottling, the 14-Year-Old, after mostly being used as a filler for many blends including Johnnie Walker. Diageo announced plans for a £30m expansion in 2014, however, since then, nothing has come of it. This batch 1 of the distillery-exclusive bottlings from Clynelish Distillery. It is a limited edition of just 3000 bottles. Matured in a bourbon cask, this single malt was personally selected by the distillery team and bottled at 48% ABV.
