Cocchi Chinato is an aromatised wine in the Piedmontese chinato tradition, sold in a 75cl bottle. Chinato made on a barolo base is known as barolo chinato, and the style is served as an aperitif or after dinner.
Cocchi's version is flavoured with gentian, cardamom and rhubarb, among other botanicals. It is deep and complex, with a satisfying bittersweet character that suits a small glass before or after a meal.
