A cognac from the Grande Champagne area, produced by Frapin. It is a blend of eaux-de-vie aged for many years in oak casks, giving aromatic complexity and a balanced palate. The nose shows intense vanilla and chocolate, with ripe plum and apricot, plus cinnamon and white pepper. On the palate it is soft and enveloping, with honey, espresso coffee and dried fruit, leading to a long, persistent finish with toasted oak. It is presented in a box.
