Cognac Martell XO is a blend of eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, with a predominance of Grande Champagne. Distilled without lees and aged for a long time in French oak casks, it has a deep bouquet of candied fruit, sweet spice, cedar wood and a light touch of vanilla. The palate is full and silky, balancing warm wood notes with fresh citrus. The finish is long and persistent, with spicy notes and pleasing complexity. It is suited to being sipped neat or with a small piece of dark chocolate.
