A Pineau des Charentes Blanc Vieux from François Voyer, from the Charentes region. It is made mainly from Ugni Blanc and Folle Blanche grapes. Ageing balances fresh grape must with aged Cognac, giving sweetness and a soft body, with notes of ripe fruit, honey and delicate spices. On the nose there are white flowers and yellow-fleshed fruit. Its velvety, persistent structure suits an aperitif or traditional French desserts.
