Age

This is a 28 year old single malt from Coleburn, a Speyside distillery whose still is now silent. It was distilled in 1972 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice range. Most of Coleburn's output went into Johnnie Walker blends, and independent bottlers have released only a few single bottlings. Straw in colour, it has a very fresh, fruity nose of pear drops, with a little eucalyptus and apple juice. The palate brings wood, grain and some fruit, leading to a medium finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
