Coleburn – Local Heros Sherry Bomb Batch #1 Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Sherry Bomb is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Batch #1 of the Local Heros series, which marks a new chapter for the historic Coleburn distillery. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour. The whisky draws on Oloroso and refill casks, and the sherry influence runs through the profile. The nose combines spiced sweetness, honey, red apples and cinnamon over toasted malt. On the palate come dried fruit, hazelnut and stewed plums, with a full, opulent texture. The finish is soft and elegant, staying fruity and spicy for a long time.
