A Colombian rum aged 15 years in oak barrels that previously held coffee.
It is deep amber. The nose shows toasted notes, freshly ground coffee, vanilla, dark chocolate, ripe fruit and sweet spices. The palate is full and rounded, with a soft texture and flavours of coffee, caramel and chocolate, balanced sweetness and a warm, spicy finish.
It is best enjoyed neat at room temperature, perhaps with dark chocolate or a cigar.
