This is a sweet Marsala from Sicily, made by Colombo and based on the Catarratto Bianco grape. It comes in a 1.5 litre bottle.
Dark amber in colour, it is full and warm on the palate, with hints of dates and apricots. The finish is elegant, with dried fruit.
It suits poultry dishes and dessert preparation.
