It is made from Buffalo Trace's low-rye Mash Bill #1, using methods inspired by Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr.
The nose is butterscotch and fig with mocha, brown sugar and toasted oak. On the palate come wild berry cobbler, salted caramel and vanilla, with peppery spice, tobacco and cedar. The finish is long and warming, with butterscotch, toffee and vanilla custard over oak.
