Colonel E.H. Taylor Cured Oak Bourbon 2015 (75cl)

Colonel E.H. Taylor Cured Oak Bourbon is the 2015 release of an experimental bourbon from the Colonel E.H. Taylor range made at Buffalo Trace, in a 750ml bottle. It is Bottled in Bond. The barrels were built from oak that had been cured for an extended period before the casks were constructed. The range is named after Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr., a nineteenth-century distiller who drove the 1897 Bottled-in-Bond Act, and this release carries his experimental approach forward. It is described as smooth and well balanced, with caramel, vanilla and a subtle spice character.
