Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Cured Oak Bourbon 2026 (75cl, 50%)

Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Cured Oak is a 10-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace, bottled in bond at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The 2026 release revives a one-off first made in 2015. The barrels were built from white oak staves air-dried for 13 months, more than twice Buffalo Trace's standard six months of seasoning. It is a limited release rather than an annual bottling. The nose and palate bring tobacco leaf and dried fruit, then vanilla and toffee, with seasoned oak underneath. The finish is long and dry.
