Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel Bourbon (75cl, 50%)

Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel is a Kentucky bourbon in which each bottle is drawn from one hand-selected barrel. It is bottled in bond at 100 proof (50% ABV) in a 75cl bottle. It was distilled at Buffalo Trace in Frankfort and rested in Warehouse C, the rickhouse Taylor built in 1881. The bourbon is not blended, so the character of the single barrel comes through. Toasted oak, dried figs and butterscotch are noted on both nose and palate, followed by sweet tobacco and dark spices on a smooth finish.
