Colonel E.H. Taylor Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle. It is bottled in bond, made to the requirements of the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, at 45.3% ABV.
The mash bill combines corn, rye and malted barley.
The nose shows toasted oak, caramelised sugar and a little dried fruit, with cinnamon and nutmeg emerging as it opens. On the palate come caramel, vanilla and oak, with some spice and a touch of sweetness.
