Colonel E.H. Taylor Small Batch is a Kentucky bourbon produced at Buffalo Trace and bottled in bond at 50% ABV, or 100 proof, in a 75cl bottle. Selected barrels are blended into small batches, and the recipe is identified as Mash Bill #1.
The whiskey matures in warehouses built during Taylor's tenure.
Caramel-corn sweetness comes with butterscotch and licorice, followed by pepper and tobacco. The mouthfeel is soft before the spice develops, and the ending is drier.
