Compass Box Art & Decadence Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl, 49%)

Art & Decadence is a blended Scotch whisky from Compass Box, bottled at 49% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition of 9,126 bottles, inspired by the decadence movement of the late nineteenth century. The blend combines Balmenach, Glen Moray and Linkwood single malts with Port Dundas single grain, using whiskies of up to 22 years old. They come from Sauternes, Marsala and Madeira casks, first-fill Oloroso and Palo Cortado seasoned butts, refill sherry butts and recharred American oak barrels. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colouring. It is typically described as showing dried and pale fruit, toffee, vanilla, dark chocolate and fragrant oak.
