Compass Box Canvas (75cl, 46%)

Compass Box Canvas is a limited-edition blended malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46% in a 75cl bottle. It combines single malts from Tomatin, Glenburgie, Glen Elgin and Imperial, with a parcel matured in American oak and then finished for three years in Vino Naranja casks, which are seasoned with a Spanish fortified wine infused with orange peel. Canvas is non-chill-filtered and natural colour. 5,880 bottles were released in June 2021. The nose is waxy and citrusy, with blood orange, orange bitters, currants and black tea. The palate brings forest honey, vanilla shortbread, custard and frangipane, with nutmeg, cardamom and chocolate through a long, warming finish.
