Compass Box Crimson Casks is a sherried blended malt Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle. It is made from malt whiskies aged in sherry casks, red wine casks and custom French oak casks.
The style is intense and layered, balancing rich red fruit with chocolate fudge and warming spice.
Chocolate fudge cake leads on the nose, lifted by clove and cardamom. Plum jam and redcurrant jelly give way to cherry, toffee and oak, and the finish brings raisin, honey and brown sugar.
