Compass Box Delos (70cl, 49%)

Compass Box Delos is a limited-edition blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 49% in a 70cl bottle. Only 5,520 bottles were filled. It is the second release in the Extinct Blends Quartet, which revisits discontinued blends. Delos reworks Asyla, a blend in the Compass Box core range from 2001 until 2018, using older stocks. It combines Imperial, Glen Elgin and Miltonduff malts with Cameronbridge grain, all matured in American oak. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose offers ripe pear, pineapple, orange oil and vanilla cream. On the palate come fruit tarts and white chocolate, and the long finish carries guava, heather honey and chai spices.
