Compass Box Juvenile is a blended malt Scotch whisky bottled at 46% as a limited edition. It was made at the request of the Paris wine bar Juvenile Bistrot à Vins, which shares Compass Box's aim of integrity without taking itself too seriously. John Glaser made the project a priority.
The blend is made of five whiskies from Strathmill, Glendullah, Clynelish and Balmenach.
It shows good complexity. The nose is malt, pears and vanilla, with an underlying sweet green tea note that ties the whisky together.
