Nectarosity is a blended Scotch whisky from Compass Box, introduced in late 2024 as part of the brand's permanent Core Four range. Lead whiskymaker James Saxon drew on London's patisserie and pop-up baking scene. Around 65% of the blend is single malt, from Clynelish, Linkwood and Balmenach, alongside grain whisky from Girvan and Cameronbridge. Casks include virgin American oak first used for grain spirit, first-fill bourbon barrels and Palo Cortado sherry-seasoned casks.
Bottled at 46%, it is natural colour and non-chill filtered. The nose is warm banana-walnut loaf, vanilla custard biscuits and tinned peaches. The palate brings poached pear, lychee and apricot jam, and the finish is long, with cinnamon buns and sweet wood polish.
