Compass Box Orchard House is a fruit-forward blended malt that draws on whiskies from distilleries including Clynelish, Linkwood and Benrinnes.
The nose is bright and fruity, with juicy pears and peaches, grapes, lemons and green apples, alongside vanilla, mint and light blossom, and a subtle waxy side. The palate is light and not too sweet, with a boozy edge, hints of grappa and fruit eau-de-vie, green apple, peach, pear, citrus peel, white pepper and light oak. The finish is not too long, on soft spice, honey and orchard fruits.
