The Last Vatted Malt is a Compass Box bottling in a 70cl bottle, made to mark a change in whisky law. After the 22nd of November 2011, under the Scotch Whisky Regulations of 2009, whiskies could no longer be labelled as vatted malts and the term became blended malt. This cask strength vatting combines 35 year old Speyside whisky with 26 year old Islay whisky. It is one of 1323 bottles.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
