Compass Box The Peat Monster is a blended malt Scotch whisky in a 750ml bottle. It combines heavily peated Islay and Highland single malts, with no grain whisky, and is built around smoke.
Caol Ila and Ardmore are its main components. The Islay peat of Caol Ila sits alongside the earthier Highland peat of Ardmore, giving a smoke drawn from more than one source.
It is assembled by Compass Box, an independent blender founded by John Glaser in 2000.
