The Spaniard is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Compass Box, bottled at 43% in a 750ml bottle. It is made from malt whiskies aged in Spanish sherry and red wine casks.
The nose brings red wine, ripe berries and a touch of citrus, with a warm oak influence underneath. On the palate there are dried fruits such as raisins and figs, along with toffee, vanilla and subtle spice.
