Compass Box The Spice Tree

The Spice Tree is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Compass Box. An earlier version was discontinued because of its unconventional oak ageing, and the whisky returned after the blenders worked with coopers in France and Scotland on a new hybrid cask. That custom-made cask uses French oak for the heads and American oak for the bodies. The whisky is rich and intense, with baking spices and layers of toasty oak alongside the distillery character.
