Compass Box Ultramarine

Ultramarine is a blended Scotch from Compass Box and the first release in the Extinct Blends Quartet. It takes its inspiration from a deluxe blended Scotch first released in the late 1980s, with its antique Sherry and pipe tobacco notes. The blend relies on mature malts from the Caol Ila and Glendullan distilleries, together with aged grain whisky from Cameronbridge and Girvan and a medley of pre-blended stocks. It is described as powerfully flavoursome and impressively textural.
