This is a Domfrontais calvados made from both apples and pears. The Reserve is aged for three to five years in small, well-used oak casks, where the wood begins to play a larger part while the fruit stays in front, rounder and joined by gentle spice.
It is golden in colour. The nose is led by pear, with apple, a little cinnamon and mint. The palate is full and fruity, with cinnamon, vanilla and brioche. It can be enjoyed neat or in cocktails, or after a meal.
