Connemara 12 Year Old is a peated Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle at 40% vol. Only selected casks go into it.
It combines Irish softness with a strong peat character, and is both very peaty and fruity-sweet, slightly oily and smoky at once.
The nose is very peaty, with heather, oak and a gentle note of honey. The palate is soft and smooth, with honey, malt, vanilla, oak and ripe fruit. The finish is long, with honey, peat, chocolate and vanilla fading gently.
