Connemara 12 Year Old is a peated Irish malt whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% vol.
It takes its inspiration from the 18th-century practice of drying malted barley over peat fires. The peat shows clearly in both flavour and aroma, with a delicate smokiness and a soft, sweet taste.
The peat notes sit alongside a soft, sweet maltiness.
