Connemara Irish Peated Single Malt is a whisky from Ireland, where peated single malts are uncommon. It comes in a 70cl bottle, packed in a tube. Peating is a practice more usual in Scottish whisky. Here the nose combines smoke and peat with honey and ripe fruit. The palate opens soft, with vanilla and caramel, before a robust peat character takes over and carries into a lingering finish.
