Connemara Original Peated is an Irish whiskey bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Its smoky peat character is unusual for an Irish whiskey.
The nose is very peaty, with heather, oak and a soft note of honey. The palate is soft and smooth with honey, malt, vanilla, oak and ripe fruit, ending in full, smoky peat. The finish is long, with honey, peat, chocolate and vanilla fading gently.
