Contadi Castaldi Franciacorta DOCG Pinot Nero Natura

A red wine from Contadi Castaldi, made from Pinot Nero grown in the Brescia area and produced as Franciacorta DOCG. It is vinified without added sulphites under biological standards and aged in oak barrels, which add a light touch of vanilla and spice. The colour is a delicate but bright ruby red. On the nose there are cherry, forest fruits, rose and a hint of black pepper. On the palate it is elegantly structured, balanced and fresh, with fine, well-integrated tannins and an aromatic persistence. It suits refined dishes such as porcini mushroom risotto or red meat preparations.
