Contadi Castaldi Franciacorta DOCG Zero

A sparkling wine from Contadi Castaldi, produced in Franciacorta. It is made mainly from Chardonnay with a smaller proportion of Pinot Noir, harvested by hand. Fermentation takes place first in stainless steel and then in bottle, following the traditional method, with maturation on the lees for over 24 months. It has fine, persistent bubbles and a pale straw colour. The nose shows white flowers, white-fleshed fruit, bread crust and mineral notes. On the palate it is clean and direct, with good acidity and a long finish.
