A full-bodied, elegant red wine from Contini, made from the native Cannonau grape of Sardinia.
It is distinguished by ageing in wood, which gives it added complexity. The nose shows mature red berry fruit, black pepper and balsamic notes of myrtle and rosemary. On the palate it is full and round, with present but velvety tannins and long persistence.
It suits roast meats, aged cheeses and traditional Sardinian dishes.
