A Speyside single malt from Convalmore, distilled in 1960 and bottled in 1996 by Gordon & MacPhail for its Rare Old range. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
Convalmore was established in Dufftown in 1894 and spent most of its working life producing malt for blends, so relatively little of it appeared as single malt. The Distillers Company closed the distillery in 1985, and the site is now used for warehousing.
