This is a 32-year-old Convalmore from the 2017 Special Release series, bottled at 48.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured in a refill hogshead of American oak, and 3972 bottles were filled from it.
The nose is soft and sweet with spicy touches, moving towards fruit that is both sweet and sour. On the palate it is smooth, sweet and fruity, with a light tang and oak balancing the sweetness, and some floral notes. The finish is long, spiced and fruity.
