Cooperstown Beanball Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 45%)

Cooperstown Beanball is a bourbon blend bottled at 45% in a 750ml bottle, with no age statement. It marries the distillery's own small-batch four-grain bourbon, made from corn, rye, wheat and oats, with sourced Indiana bourbon. Cooperstown Distillery is the first and only distillery in Otsego County, New York, and it names its spirits after baseball. A beanball is the pitch thrown to scare a batter off the plate. The wheat and oats in the New York distillate add softness, while the Indiana bourbon provides the classic bourbon backbone. Tasting notes include caramel, butterscotch, caramelised corn, toasted grain, buttery toffee, oatmeal, honey, baking spice and oak, followed by a smoked-toffee finish.
