Cooperstown Canton Football Decanter is a 90-proof (45% ABV) bourbon from Cooperstown Distillery in Cooperstown, New York. It comes in a 750ml hand-blown glass decanter shaped like an American football, with detailed laces and a pigskin-replica stopper, standing on a moulded base showing a football field.
The bourbon blends younger high-corn bourbon with more mature small-grain bourbon, aged in new charred American oak. It belongs to the distillery's football-themed Canton line, named for Canton, Ohio, home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Tasting notes describe caramel, vanilla and soft oak on the nose, toffee and baking spice on the palate, and a smooth finish with lingering caramel sweetness.
